Certified IB Online Tutors in Chicago for All Subjects

IB HL courses cover more material in greater depth and require 240 teaching hours compared to 150 hours for SL. HL subjects often feature additional, more complex topics on exams and require more advanced analysis or problem-solving in Internal Assessments (IAs). Our tutoring is specifically tailored to master these harder HL-only topics and rigorous grading criteria.

Yes, absolutely! While we strictly follow academic integrity rules, meaning we will never write or edit your paper directly, we guide you through every stage of the IA process. We assist with choosing a high-scoring topic, structuring your argument/investigation, interpreting the rubric, and refining your methodology.

Many IB subjects (like History, Biology, or Physics) allow schools to choose specific options or case studies. Before your first lesson, we match you with a tutor who knows your exact subject options and syllabus track. Every session is customized to focus on your personal weak spots, whether that’s conceptual understanding or exam technique.

Most  students benefit from 1 hour per week to stay on track with classwork, review tricky concepts, and prepare for upcoming school tests. In the months leading up to final exams or IA deadlines, some students temporarily bump this to 2 hours per week for intensive revision.
